NYAB consolidates its marine operations under the name NYAB Marine
15.04.26NYAB has consolidated its marine operations under the name NYAB Marine. The initiative builds on extensive experience from marine projects across the group, as well as a unified organisation with specialist expertise in work carried out in coastal and marine environments.
NYAB Marine builds on the group’s marine experience from projects including ports and quays, fairways and dredging, subsea pipelines, as well as diving and underwater works. The division delivers contracts in environments that are often technically complex and characterised by high requirements for planning, coordination and execution.
“By bringing the marine operations together under a clear and unified offering, we create better conditions for taking responsibility throughout the delivery of marine projects. It is about building on the expertise that already exists within the group, as well as meeting our customers’ need for advisory support and integrated solutions,” says Andreas Öhgren, Country Manager of NYAB Sweden.
Within NYAB Marine, a dedicated team of new and existing specialists with extensive experience from marine projects has been formed. The organisation also has access to specialist expertise in diving and underwater works, including through the wholly owned subsidiary Dyk & Anläggning i Stockholm AB.
Together with NYAB Group’s other business areas within infrastructure, energy and industry, this creates the conditions to take overall responsibility for projects where work on land, in port areas and underwater must function seamlessly together.
During the autumn, Stefan Holmqvist was appointed to lead NYAB’s marine operations.

Throughout the year, work will continue to further develop the offering and clarify NYAB Marine’s role as part of NYAB’s overall offering.
