– We are well acquainted with the Swedish Transport Administration and this type of agreement. The Swedish Transport Administration is our single largest customer and it is about delivering safety and quality with a cost-effective production, so also on this contract. This contract provides NYAB with a multi-year base which, together with our existing operations in this and in adjacent geographies, offers great opportunities for synergies and coordination. We are now looking at opportunities to offer local suppliers and subcontractors annual employment and larger volumes and thereby the opportunity for competitive growth in their respective companies with us, says Björn Lindbäck, business area manager at NYAB Infrastructure.
– This type of agreement is highly valued by the market and by us. Multi-year contracts with volumes and revenues during Q1. This is because our core business consisting of infrastructure and construction projects has lower volumes during the winter months. With this, we are building an even stronger base for our continued development. Regarding this agreement, the ambition is to deliver a high quality to the Swedish Transport Administration, and thereby to road users. The road network here in the north is the most important hub. Society’s residents, businesses and industries need to have a high quality of infrastructure, says Magnus Granljung, chief operating officer of the NYAB Group.
