NYAB signs agreement with Luleå Municipality for expansion of Luleå Industrial Park
07.01.25NYAB Infrastructure signs an agreement with Luleå Municipality for infrastructure work in connection with the expansion of Luleå Industrial Park in the new industrial area Hertsöfältet. The agreement, which has been signed on cost-plus contract, is expected to start in the first quarter of 2025 and be completed in September 2026.
The agreement includes the construction of roads, and water and sewage pipes with a pumping station and ditches for stormwater management. The project will be carried out in collaboration with Luleå Municipality, where the parties jointly solve tasks in an open collaboration.

Luleå Industrial Park is an established business cluster for green industrial transition with world-leading technology development. Luleå Municipality owns and develops Luleå Industrial Park in close collaboration with the industry and Luleå University. Luleå Industrial Park consists of the industrial area of Svartön and the new industrial area of Hertsöfältet. Work on Hertsöfältet began in 2021, and the area is expected to be fully developed by 2030. NYAB is already active with several projects in the area.
