NYAB wins assignments in the Stockholm area
25.10.21The growth journey in infrastructure and construction continues for the NYAB Group. NYAB has won two new procurements and signed a contract in recent days.
CRTG, China Railway Tunnel Group, has contracted NYAB to build paved roads in the working tunnels down to the main tunnels. The project is part of the construction of the new metro to Nacka.
Håbo municipality awards NYAB the project “Björkvallen Idrottsvägen”. The work consists of water and street work.
The contract value amounts to approximately SEK 12.5 million including option.
Norrtälje Vatten & Avfall awards the NYAB project “Quay facility Kapellskär”. The project consists of constructing a new quay for receiving waste from the archipelago in Kapellskär. The contract value amounts to approximately SEK 10 million.
The NYAB, which originated in Norrbotten, began operations in Stockholm as late as 2020.
– Very interesting and for us suitable projects, ranging from underground work and quay construction. These are projects that match both our breadth and our edge. We have continued good growth in the Stockholm area with a roughly doubling of sales for 2021, compared with the start-up year 2020 and we now land at approximately SEK 240 million. With our current order backlog, we are looking closely at a further doubling of sales in 2022 and that with continued good profitability, says Johan Skoog, Business Area Manager NYAB Mälardalen.
