29.02.24Patrik Nilsson has worked as Business and Calculation Manager at NYAB Mälardalen since May 2022. In NYAB, he sees an exciting company in the Mälardalen region with great development potential where he can earn new responsibilities.
“At NYAB, you get to be part of a growth journey while being given great opportunities to develop into new roles and with more responsibility.”
Hi Patrik! What do you do as a Business and Calculation Manager?
In my role, I keep both eyes on the market to find exciting new projects for NYAB. I am also involved in more complex tendering that requires a lot of preparations and strategic work. I can also be involved in the projects themselves, preferably in collaboration, where I take a helicopter perspective so that we and our customers collaborate as well as possible.
Why do you enjoy working on collaborative projects?
In a collaborative project, we work as a united team with the client for the best results. For me, it’s about finding the proper routines, working methods, and project implementations that both parties benefit from and where everyone feels involved. Collaboration is based on relationships, long-term thinking, and trusting each other, which I am very passionate about.
What is the best thing about working at NYAB?
Two things come to mind. Firstly, we have efficient decision-making processes at every level, whether internally here in Mälardalen or matters concerning the offices in northern Sweden. Secondly, all employees are driven and have an entrepreneurial mindset. By that, I mean that we are not afraid to try new things and always seek solutions to the challenges we meet.
What qualities do you think a potential employee should have?
People who are innovative, solution-oriented, and have high ambitions will thrive at NYAB. There are plenty of opportunities here to absorb new knowledge and experience and to grow with responsibility in different roles. NYAB never stands still, and neither will you!
