NYAB is awarded an infrastructure contract worth 130 million for Huddinge municipality
12.11.21Huddinge municipality has continued strong growth with a young population amounting to approximately 113,000 inhabitants. With that, Huddinge is Stockholm County’s second largest municipality. The municipality continues to develop by exploiting Vidja. The project is called “Widening stage 2A”.
The project consists of upgrading the street network, a new fiber and electricity network as well as the expansion of a general water and sewerage system, which includes stormwater, wastewater and drinking water. Completion and handover of the project will take place before the end of 2025.
The NYAB Group has an eight-year uninterrupted suite of profitable growth and from the previous year has strong growth outside Norrbotten, which is the Group’s home county. As previously announced, the current order backlog indicates a doubled turnover in the Stockholm area in the coming years, and with that, the volume lands around SEK 500 million. Through the recruitment of key people in the project operations, NYAB is now establishing itself in Gävle.

Our establishment in Gävle will geographically cover the market from Hudiksvall to Uppsala and sort under the business area NYAB Mälardalen, says Johan Skoog, CEO of NYAB Mälardalen.
