NYAB strengthens the Executive Management Team – new leadership for the Consulting segment and Dovre’s operations in Norway
16.01.26NYAB strengthens the Executive Management Team by appointing Daniel Wallström as Head of Consulting and Harald Nikolaisen as Country Manager Norway for Dovre, both members of the Executive Management Team. Daniel Wallström will assume the role on July 1, 2026 and Harald Nikolaisen on February 1, 2026. In connection with the changes taking effect on February 1, Arve Jensen will step down from the Executive Management Team and from his role as Head of Dovre ahead of his retirement.

Arve Jensen has been involved in the development of the new leadership structure and will remain available during a transition period to ensure a structured handover.
With Daniel Wallström assuming the role of Head of Consulting, NYAB establishes consolidated leadership for its Consulting segment. The segment comprises engineering, advisory and project personnel services under the Dovre and Sitema brands and complements NYAB’s Civil Engineering offering. In his role, Daniel will have overall responsibility for the Consulting segment, including its continued development and expansion into new markets.
Daniel Wallström joins NYAB from Tyréns, where he most recently served as Head of Division Environment, previously Land & Water, and was a member of the Swedish management team. He has for more than 20 years held responsibility for consulting operations in leadership roles and has extensive experience from large and complex projects within infrastructure, industry and urban development. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Luleå University of Technology.
At the same time, Harald Nikolaisen, in his role as Country Manager for the operations in Norway, will be responsible for further developing the business and market position in Norway, as well as driving business development with a focus on growth and profitability.
Harald is currently Director of Business Development at Dovre and has extensive experience from senior positions within Norwegian infrastructure and the public sector, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of Statsbygg, as well as from large and complex projects across multiple sectors. Harald holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as well as an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School.
