NYAB wins the Group’s largest contract of all time
15.06.21The contract values of the contracts that NYAB won last week are over SEK 1 billion. These include the Group’s largest individual contract of all time, “Land, & Paving Contract” for Luleå Municipality, where the contract value amounts to approximately SEK 700 million. The contract period including options amounts to 6 years.
The NYAB Group has an eight-year uninterrupted suite of profitable growth and from the previous year has a strong growth outside Norrbotten which is the Group’s home county, NYAB Infrastructure has now won the Swedish Transport Administration’s trust and will carry out the road project “E4 Sikeå – Gumboda” in Västerbotten. The project includes bridge construction. It is a construction contract with a contract value of approximately SEK 200 million.
NYAB Mälardalen has also been awarded its first major railway contract in the Stockholm area. The customer is the Swedish Transport Administration. The yellow line of the new metro will be expanded and this entails extensive concrete and reinforcement work. The project will be completed after Easter 2022.
– Very fruitful week regarding order intake. In addition to the above, we have been awarded a nationwide framework agreement by Vattenfall for regional network cables 16 kV – 145 kV, this gives the Group a total order book of more than SEK 3.1 billion, says Magnus Granljung, Chief Operating Officer at NYAB.
