NYAB provided the foundations for 17 wind turbines for EPV Tuulivoima Oy at the Norrskogen wind farm in Närpiö.
In addition to the foundation work, NYAB’s contract included earthworks, such as the construction of access roads, storage yard, and crane pads.
The foundation work was a large-scale construction project that required approximately 2 million kilograms of steel reinforcement and 15,000 cubic meters of concrete. A total of 13 kilometers of access roads were built.
The wind farm construction was overseen by EPV Energian’s subsidiary, EPV Tuulivoima Oy, with Vestas as the turbine supplier. The wind farm has a capacity of 102 megawatts.
