Sitema has been awarded ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certificates
11.08.22Sitema a provider of energy infrastructure engineering and specialist services, part of SkartaNYAB, has been awarded ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certificates.
Sitema’s quality, environmental and safety management development is bearing fruit. DNV Oy has granted the management system international ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates to Sitema on 27.6.2022. The certification covers our energy infrastructure design and expert services.
Our customers, partners and personnel can continue to rely on our commitment to continuous improvement and development, taking into account quality, environmental and safety aspects.
Sitema has done good work for years with processes and the operating system. Now we have completed the certification round and received an award for high-quality work, that is continued daily by the entire personnel, says Tuomas Maasalo, Managing Director of Sitema.
The ISO 9001 standard is based on internationally recognized quality management principles, such as strong customer focus, motivation and participation of senior management, process-like operations and continuous improvement. The standard contributes to improving the ability to continuously produce products and services that meet customer, legal and regulatory requirements.
ISO 14001 is the most recognized international standard for environmental systems. It defines the requirements for the organization to proactively identify and understand the environmental aspects of its activities, products and services and the associated environmental impacts.
ISO 45001 is an international standard on occupational health and safety that sets out the requirements for building a good management system. The standard requires the organisation to identify hazards and assess the occupational health and safety risks associated with its operations and services. In addition, the necessary inspections are determined, and clear goals and objectives are set to improve the level of OSH.
